Within the fundamental fabric of the act called leadership, of the act called leading, of the persons named leaders, is the energy of listening. Of the energy of listening remember: listening connects, listening heals, listening give birth. So much is possible when a leader listens.
Just because you listen well to a few, does not mean you hear the thoughts and feelings of the many. Leaders listen to people. Leaders listen to communities. Leaders listen across communities. People listen to leaders who listen. Communities follow leaders who listen.
Of course there is more to leadership than Listening. When you have mastered listening the others will become important.
